Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy is a health care profession which focuses on the physical treatment and management of disease or conditions which enables people to reach their maximum potential. 'Physical therapists' are primary healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions, illnesses, or injuries that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities. Physical therapists examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. |
